Maika Van Oosterhout

Maika is a New York based, classically trained singer/actress who is skilled in both musical theatre and classical music.

 

Maika holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance. Though she started by studying opera, she has since found a home in musical theatre, and has spent the years since earning her degree honing her skills and making her mark on the professional theatre community in her home state of Michigan.

 

In addition to being a strong musician, she is also devoted to the study of acting, as is evident by her Wilde Award nomination for Best Lead Actress in a Musical for her role as Clara in The Light in the Piazza.
